Extinction Events Have A Spiritual Cause! (?)

We are told to eat meat sparingly. What if there are only so many animal spirits assigned to a certain age such as now. If we over eat cattle and chickens we may in fact run out. Famine.

What if the dinosaur was a remnant of some other world brought here to prepare our earth and when the spirits of dinosaur and supporting species was used up no more COULD be born and the way of the dinosaur and all the old world species simply ran out. Kaput, finito.

All he hosts of every sort was spiritually finished in heaven before being placed upon the earth according to scripture. Certainly God can restrict how many for now and save others for a later age like the end of the Millennium when men again begin to deny their God and no doubt meat eating will proliferate again. In the beginning of the new age of the coming earth meat eating will be curtailed if not stopped altogether. don't know how far down the food chain that will hold.

The point for us being that the huge over consumption of meats today might hit a catastrophic end. Joseph Smith predicted a famine that kicks off the calamity of the last days. He gave a sign that so long as we see a rainbow it will not happen in that year. I saw one the other day.

ETA: Every herb of the field too. Might run out of grain too! Fruits? Vegies? Ya think? !!!
Whoa! Doggies!

And what if humans stop being born for eight years or more before, during or as the famine proceeds. Probably a good thing. What would the world make of it if human conception suddenly became impossible, world-wide? No more animals being born? Little grain. Woe, woe woe.
Scripture does not mention this. I wonder though.

A curious thought, Nightlion.

Does it not also seem very curious that hadrosaurs, triceratops, and T-rexes all ran out of new spirits at the same time?

Not since God intended so. He needed to get on with the sudden deep burials and plate tectonics and other stuff to prepare for the new world of the Garden of Eden.

You know, before that asteroid 66 million years ago, many dinosaurs refused to eat meat sparingly. Perhaps this was not counterbalanced by all the herbivores. Makes you wonder whether those PETA and vegan people can subtract any of the bad karma accrued through the trillions served at McDonalds.

At least the dinosaurs did not screw the pooch as badly as those countless organic pools in the Pre-Cambrian era with their proclivity for homocombitant coiling.

Like the lichen on the Apocalrock, we finally got things right!

I could survive without red meat. Now, an extinction of shell fish and salmon would make me sad. :(

I have a pet lettuce that fundamentally disagree's with the herbivore way of life.
