Where was his family in all this? Where was his dad? The Gay did this:
Gave the kid a ride because his freakin' family wouldn't; so clearly this kid was abandoned
Listened to the kid's thoughts and ideas; he was genuinely interested in the kid's interests
Was willing to give the kid a pat; humans require genuine intimacy; Jimmy wasn't getting any of that from home
Unlike Jimmy's "parents" this man stayed true to his word, and met Jimmy at the park the next day
The freakin' Gay took the kid out to lunch; Something his own parents couldn't be bothered to do
He took the kid fishing; I mean, really, where is Dad in all this?

Oooooooooh... Wait. The parents were completely absent from this kid's life, but suddenly show up with the authorities to arrest the Gay when supposedly something went down. Ok. All Gays are Jerry Sandusky. Got it. Perhaps we should outlaw heterosexuality because female teachers are preying on young men? I mean... It's right there for all the world to see, no? I mean, women are clearly voracious harpies preying on innocent young men who simply are looking for mentors, no?
