This is the kind of thing that could have gone in the art forum (along with my photography galleries I had been preparing for that). But baring that resource, I hope it doesn't seem too off topic to post it here.

Remember our lovely thread "Draw Your Favorite MDB Poster? Some people liked my images enough to ask me to make up some fridge magnets and other folderols with those custom avatars. Since I often make up calendars of my drawing/photography/etc for Xmas presents, I wondered if anyone would be interested in an MDB calendar made up of the same drawings.

The only draw back is that I have more than 12 portraits (I think around 25 at last count), so I'm not sure how to proceed. I could put two images on a page, but not all of them pair up well, and one nice big portrait looks best. I made up a sample based on my favorites (even then I couldn't fit in all of them) and I'm still trying to resolve what looks best.

Any thoughts? Is anyone interested?

(beastie: I was never able to work around the bizarre "violation of terms" caused by your portrait. I thought I might try to order a private postcard with that image and if that works, I'll make you a fridge magnet, gratis).

Could you use your favorite 12 for the calendar months, and then just include the other drawings as stand-alone pictures in the back of the calendar book?

As long as I get July, I'd pay.

I had that idea, of putting the rest in a grid on the back, but it seems kind of second prize-ish. I'm not sure if I can add extra pages at the back. These print on demand companies they are very template oriented.

Hmm...which one are you using?

What about doing calendar cards? You could do a 12 month calendar with each design on a 4X8 or 5X7 card. Then each person could order a set of 25.

that's an idea...I'll check out a couple of different options. right now I'm trying to gauge interest.
