Could we get a coupla proper timekeepers around here?

Shades,
After reviewing some of the active threads today, I've reached the conclusion that this place is currently one hour ahead of all other discussion boards. It's no small wonder that Stemelbow left (permanently) and Ceeboo (at least till after holidays).
I don't blame them.
Please keep in mind that I'm from Canada and there is not a whole lot that I find offensive, however, when people are being driven away because this board interferes with the fall harvest, the planting of crops, and safe early morning driving conditions, I have to admit that I am left in disgust.
I know that many or most of us are busy, having lost that hour that this board has stolen from us, and that includes moderators.
Would you consider adopting Standard Time and Daylight Savings Time so that people are no longer late for work, can get the corn planted, and can catch their zeppelins on time?
H.

And I shouldn't *have* to go into User CP and change the DST settings MYSELF! The point here is that this board does a terrible job of welcoming people with the proper time settings!

One hour? Only one hour?
Please compare it with one thousand years...
Abraham 3:4 wrote:And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob.
by the way the sentence I quoted make no sense, but sounds very smart.

We have posters here from all over the world. Everyone is on a different time zone. It is up to the individual to go into the CP and choose the time zone that fits the country they are posting from.
You really can't manage to do that?

No, I can't.
I reside at UTC+1.
We use DST, but now (dec 22) there is no adjusting.
The clock at the upper right corner says 18:15.
Here is 17:15.
Your last comment was 17:18, in my future.

One would think the posting order would be enough....

What is more important, liz? The fact that this board is alienating posters from different time and economic zones, or the burden of the moderators?
I think the answer is obvious. Plus, I am so confused when I receive messages from the future. Did future me just post this? I can never tell.

You may be looking at this all wrong, ludwigm. If you are getting posts from the future and you time it right, you might be able to get the lottery (sweepstakes) numbers, results of sports games and winning horses before the fact. You could become wealthy overnight.
I'm expecting a percentage for the idea if it works out. :D!

That's the problem. A socialist economic zone is always going to out of sync time-wise as time has no incentive to work.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
People are saying hodgepodges or spitting to each other on these threads, instead talking about more important things You mentioned.
