The City Creek Center officially open in March 2012. Currently there are only 50 tenants for the Mall leaving it approximately 70% empty.
Given that Malls with less than 60% occupancy are deemed in trouble what should the Mormon Church do about this problem?

If they are 30% preleased I'd say they are doing just fine. Especially in this economy. At that rate I'm sure they will reach stabilized occupancy within a 12 to 24 months of opening.

My suggestion is to be open on Sunday. After all what retailer wants to loose 1/7 of their selling opportunity.

It's a mall. Isn't it going to be opened on Sunday and can't any retailer rent from them?

Pray, pay, and obey.
If that doesn't work, it was never a problem in the first place.

It won't be opened on Sundays. Only a select few, full service restaurants will be allowed to be opened on Sundays.

Mighty Builder, mind if I ask where you got those numbers?
