Translation of the Phaistos Disc has begun!

I have successfully translated two characters on the disc. All the credit goes, of course, to My Guide in The Heavens, Pallas Athene. I wish to update all the critics on the board of my continuing process in an attempt to reduce any elements of surprise. I am a mere instrument in the hand of God.

Let is review the Facsimile:

The first of two symbols I have successfully translated is found on the outer rim of the disc. This symbol is a circle that contains 7 dots. This is the symbol of the pomogranate, which translates to Hera, Goddess of marriage and women. She is the "Lady", as many know her by and respectfully address her.

The next symbol is the little bird, known to be the cuckoo. This symbol represents pursuation, passion, and duty in marriage. As you might recall, the cuckoo was used as a disguise for Zeus in his seduction of Hera.

I already mentioned the contents of this divine disc are related to marriage. Certainly, this work will bring about a great source of enlightenment for the modern family. This suggestion has been confirmed by the great Benefactress Herself, to me, during my quiet contemplations. This, my friends, is revelation in action.

Stay tuned for new developments as the translation continues.

Thank you,

Zee.

In the tradition of Oliver Cowdery, I attempted a revelatory translation of the Phaistos Disc. As near as I can tell, the first few caractors read: "Izzim flizzim flazzam whipple gremlin". This is clearly incorrect, which proves that Zeezrom is a true prophet of Athena.

Fascinating. Next you need to get a revelation that your neighbor should mortgage his farm to finance the translation.

When Joseph found the plates, his neighbours ridiculed his "Golden Bible", or "Gold Bible". We need a slang for Zeezrom's Disc.

I propose "Sacred Cookie", because it looks like a cookie, and the double entendre seems appropriate.

I fed the disk into an advanced decryption heuristic...... And came up with a word for word copy of the Book of Abraham.

Damndest thing I ever saw.

Congrats, Zee! I am glad to hear that the Virgin Goddess is guiding you to reveal great mysteries in our day.

Let me know if the Jaredites figure in the sacred text in any way, will you?

Thanks Kish, I will be sure to let you know. ;)

by the way, I think we may need to discuss the goings on since the fall of Hellenism at some point. A lot has happened!

Did you know Heavenly Father married Athena in the 5th century AD? Did you know she divorced him in 1833?

There are some amazing stories we have been missing out on. Hopefully, the contents of this disc will remind us of them.

Fascinating! I can't wait for a complete translation. The 1833 event remains opaque to me.
