How the Church "handles" the Church of Cain Legacy

This is how the Church currently "handles" the Curse of Cain Legacy:

1. Make no mention of blacks being "cursed" in general conference or in any Church publication. Mention the priesthood-ban only if you absolutely have to, but say "We don't know why the Lord banned them until 1978" and say "It was a command from the Lord, but the Lord never told us why He was doing that".

2. Tell Church leaders not to discuss it, not even to discuss it to defend it.

3. If journalists or other non-mormons inquire about it...DENY IT! "No, the Church NEVER taught that blacks are cursed in any way. The Church NEVER taught that black people were less valiant in the War in the Heaven. The Church NEVER taught that blacks were the children of Cain". If a non-member says "Well, what about these quotes from Church leaders that do teach these things?" claim they are misquotes or that "That was their opinion at the time but it was never put forth as official Church doctrine".

4. If Members ask about it tell them to "see your bishop!" The bishop will most likely say one of the following:

a) "Look DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! Just pay your tithing, attend your meetings and you'll be blessed. Forget it!"

b) "Why are you asking questions? Do you masturbate?"

c) "DON'T QUESTION THE BRETHREN! How DARE you??? Just leave it alone! Don't discuss this again with anyone or else!"

d) "Don't play games...you already KNOW the answer to the question you're asking me! DON'T PLAY GAMES!"

e) "No, of course not, the Church never taught any such thing!"

f) "Of course Negroes are the cursed children of Cain, everybody knows that!"

g) The bishop will bulge his eyes at you and wag his head as mockingly as possible but say nothing until you get up in disgust and leave his office.

5. If someone contacts the Church and wants an "official statement" on whether the Curse of Cain Doctine was true or a "mistake" these people are told: "Ok. No problem. Let me ask my supervisor and we'll get back to you on that!" LDS Public Affairs has NO INTENTION of ever "getting back" to them on that or anything else! This is called "Eternal Put-Off".

6. Make sure that no books are published or if they are published no books that discuss the Curse of Cain doctrine are to be distributed in Church-owned bookstores (Deseret and Seagull), and make sure that books such as "Mormon Doctrine" go out of print without further publications; do all this behind the scenes.

7. Have a meeting with CES (Church Educational Supervisors) and tell them to hold meetings with Institute and Seminary teachers, telling them that "The Brethren" don't want them to discuss past Church teachings regarding blacks with their students. Don't bring the subject up. If a student brings it up say, "We don't know why blacks were banned, it was not the time!" and leave it at that. Don't put it in writing. Leave no paper trail. No embarrassing documents that anti-Mormons can publish later. If an Institute or Seminary teacher repeatedly violates this new "unwritten rule" after being warned, fire them.

8. If a black Member gets "upidy" and writes to the Church asking about the Curse of Cain, draft a secret letter, calling the Curse of Cain a "mistake". Mail it to his bishop, with instructors to hold the letter in both hands and read it aloud. Don't let the member handle, read, or even "see" the letter. Lock the letter in a safe place. Do not make any copies. Once you've read the letter to the member lock it away until it can be mailed back to Church Offices. Don't talk about the letter nor its contents with anyone except the black Member, and nobody else. Tell the black member that he/she MUST keep the contents of the letter confidential BEFORE you read them the letter. Don't let the member handle or even get close to the letter.

That is how the Church "deals" with the Curse of Cain Legacy. Lie, deny, equivocation, and eternal put off. And it works.......beautifully!

A "Only True Church" does not need lies and deception in order to help it along or defend it.

Do the math.

Dear LDS Toronto,

I don't think the Church is "cuckoo"! Their deception is very "street smart". But...they are lying as usual. And YES....what I wrote is absolutely TRUTHFUL.

The Church is lying.

I have told you the absolute 100% truth.
