i just got an email copied to me from my mother telling me my sister is gay now.

i think she is leaving the church over this issue.

i can understand why.

it must be hard to be gay and have to be a Mormon too.

eventually i will talk to her about it.

for now i want information.

i can tell that many of you were once upon a time members of the church.

now none of you believe in your testimonies anymore.

why is that?

i want to have some idea of what apostacy is before i write her a note.

if you aren't too busy please share here on this thread.

I’d just write her a note that says you love her no matter what and she’ll always be your sister.

So what if she does? You just need to listen and be present to her, not immediately launch into some rehearsed defense of the Church…

you can't' be Mormon and gay at the same time unless you want to be celibate and not really be gay.

my sister isn't the type to hide things and so will go.
