Breaking the ice with spirits

Last night, my wife and I attended a Hawaiian themed party for my colleague's bday. I knew only 6 people and the rest were total strangers. I'm usually fairly shy in social settings and don't always contribute much to conversations with people I've never met. But last night was different! I started the evening with 2 margaritas. by the way, it's weird that salt tastes good with a fruity drink... Anyway, those two drinks didn't make me out of control but still very willing to talk to anyone. I introduced myself to this guy out of the blue- and others joined in. We all ended up talking for an hour or so. Oh, and guess where this guy's roots are! Greece! Cool, I know.

One of my coworkers is TBM and he was also at the party. He is just like me as a TBM. He was noticeably uncomfortable, wandering around in the empty rooms of the house and whatnot. Don't get me wrong! This guy is really awesome. A fun guy to talk to and an excellent worker and father. He just needed a way to break the ice but the chocolate fondue wasn't working for him.
