Oh come now, bcspace. Sexual orientation is more powerful than any drug! Infact, sexual orientation is reality.

How do I know this? I've lived it and tested it. I know for myself. I have a testimony. There is nothing you could ever say that could sway it. I have a PURE knowledge based on a life of experience and personal enlightenment. A Mormon prophet will not shake that testimony. I know who I am. And I will die knowing that.

I see it as a legitimate response to those who bash others with just as valid a pov if not more. Science has certainly not come to the aid of homosexuals in their quest for the legitimacy of their lifestyle so really it's still just simply a matter of public health and safety especially with all the additional risk factors involved.

bcspace just needs to learn how to love his fellow man and not judge. You don't need religion to do that.

I have joy in being gay -- being who I really am and who I always really have been, not supressing my true orientation and covering myself in religious commandments. These are the happiest days of my life. It makes me almost want to cry.

bcspace is ignorant, and a bit cruel too. All we can do is gently persuade him otherwise and forgive him.

I don't care about what YOU say about science. I know who I am. And science is learning more and more about sexual orientation. The Dark Ages are over, bcspace. Step into the light.

The Christian religion certainly does NOT teach a man not to judge 1 Cor 6:2 etc. But here is Paul asking us to apply a little bit of moral relativity and let grow unhindered that which devours and destroys. I know the lifestyle very well Paul having lived for years within it (but not of it) myself. If not destroyed, it must be kept at bay. I will not leave off making judgements about what is good and what is evil and yes, I will discriminate between the two. I have seven children being released into the world with these same beliefs. Beware!
