Cam is giving another woman grief , and this time he’s involving her family that doesn’t participate here. I’m all for calling stupid people stupid, but this shouldn’t be tolerated. I’d don’t want to have some meta-discussion about board moderation, I don’t care, green names don’t make policy and talking to Shades about this isn’t worth the effort.

Here is what I propose, the women on this board who get harassed by Cam shouldn’t be left to fend for themselves, so how about the male posters here from all sides of the issue tell Cam to knock it the hell off.

Yeah, I haven't paid enough attention to notice whatever past history existed between these two, but his words in that thread were over the top.

Well, I tried to find out the source of the animosity and it seems that Dr. Cam himself is unsure as to why he's so angry with her.

He doesn't require history for his attacks on female posters. If you are critical of his conduct, you can say so on the thread Stak linked to.

There is not a woman on this board who cannot handle Cam, however, I think I can speak for most or all of us when I say that it becomes a matter of choice. No self respecting woman is going to spend enormous amounts of time beating back denigrating comments from someone like Cam. There comes a point at which one chooses what she is willing to spend her time on.

That said, when the harassing comments are left to stand unchallenged, it is tantamount to a tacit endorsement of such behavior on this board and serves to encourage more of the same from others.

Not long ago, there was much discussion regarding personal attacks and posters who chose to leave on account of them. The attacks that Cam makes on female posters, Jack being his current object of obsession, and given the fact that he is a repeat offender, has never been put in check.

Cam, stick to the issues, lest you become MD's foremost prick (a title made available by the recent exodus of one Billy Schryver). Assuming of course you haven't already earned that title.

1 - being a sexist is one thing but lashing out at peoples significant others completely douchey.

2 - being a sexist is pretty douchey....

And I nominate Stak for the William Shakespeare prize for the defense of women.

Please don't ignore the fact that when Cam begins making digs at Jack's marriage or husband, he is bringing in real life into the so-called discussion.

This should come under the Board Rules regarding in real life and be consequenced accordingly.
