When we think of life on Earth, most of us think of multicellular organisms, like large mammals or massive trees. But we're only aware of multicellular life evolving three times, which suggested it might be a major hurdle. Now, a new study describes how researchers evolved a multicellular form of yeast (the same species that contributes to bread and beer), and were able to see specialized cell behaviors and reproduction in as little as 60 days.

It's good that there is more evidence for evolution, but for creationists it's not really about evidence, and it hasn't been for a while. People who deny evolution simply want the Biblical creation story to be true, and they're willing to prove their faith by denying the mountains of evidence.

All that is true. Still, every once in a while, the last straw does break the camels back. I've seen it on this board (very rarely). One can only keep pointing out the facts in hopes that a few eventually catch on.

This doesn't disprove a creator that it is involved in evolution, but it is more evidence for evolution. This is more evidence against strict creationists who deny evolution is real.
I think an interesting thread would be a discussion for those who try to reconcile evolution with the Biblical creator. If the purpose of life is for us to come here and be tested, why would this God use a method of 'evolutionary creation' that is so wasteful? Why would he use a method that it so incredibly time consuming? Think of the all transitionary animals that had to live and die just so that we could get to this point. If this God could just make it happen, why do it through evolution? Especially when it seems to contradict the story he left in the Bible. Thus causing some to question his very existence.
