When you click on the blocked out logo it takes you to a page about these two bill with a link to an OL petition. Earlier we tried Wiki to check out the elements my twins adopted at school, and all of Wiki was blacked out over this. Does anyone know about these two bills? Some of what I read (skimmed) brought to mind the time the board was down over the picture thing.

Getting the same thing. I don't know anything more at the moment. But it strikes me that Google has too much power and control over our browsing.

From what I understand, the bills grant sweeping powers to the government to shut down websites at the behest of copyright owners (i.e. movie studios and music labels) based on complaints involving copyrighted materials (i.e. movies and music).
