In "Answer Them Nothing", a recent book about the FLDS, by Debra Weyermann, the author starts many chapters with an epigram from Brigham Young or one from Warren Jeffs or both. Very good book, though it is was so frustrating to read about how impotent our legal system was/is to stop the abuses inside Short Creek. When it comes to manipulating the legal system it is like the FLDS have their own city charter.

They were lead to a confirmation from the spirit that they should enter into polygamy in the FLDS church.

When you start with an unreliable methodology, you get all kinds of inconsistent results. :)

Are you in complete denial that young girls were not led into polygamy in the FLDS church after praying about it?
