Are Holland and Packer Glorious in the Eyes of GOD?

Let me make this clear first...
I don't believe in serving the Greater Good when It comes to a Man and the Ideology of his family if people are getting hurt.
If a Man's family is thrown by the wayside or hurt physically and that Man says "Oh, my family being hurt is acceptable so others don't suffer." That Man obviously has serious thought problems. It might be easy for others to say but if they were in the Man's situation and not putting up a fight, then those people are just as psycho as the Authority that said the greater good is being met.
That Being said, Is it a Good thing over all that Holland and Packer's devious intents drive people out of Mormonism? Is it better that Apostles drive the Youth away while hiding under a cloak to save current TBMs from displaying a unpredictable violent wrath?
Obviously their remarks did make some sort of impact, or the 20 somethings would not be leaving the confines of Mormonism at such a rate.
