Chapel Mormons are getting a little testy.
Internet Mormons tending to be more educated, prideful, rebellious, knowledgeable, oppositional to many Church policies and leaders, etc..

Perhaps Dr. Scratch could find out for us which faction is fomenting this blatant attack on the Mormon Dialogue and Discussions Board.

Can you think of a better way for us to extend our opportunity to learn how to love as He loves, than through the many differences in people that we find among the body of the saints? I sure can't! So lets all try to get along and love a little bit better. And for heaven's sake -- "literally", can we just lose the labels!
Consider the words of Abraham Lincoln when he said, "that a house divided against itself cannot stand". LDS members who find themselves either feeling on the outside or thinking that another member is on the outside, cannot seriously believe that they could possibly be considered ONE.
And it was Jesus Christ, Himself, that said -- “if ye are not one, ye are not mine.”
So who should change in order that we become one? The only standard for that is official LDS doctrine. Therefore, for example, the one who accepts gay marriage has to change by definition.

bcspace, I swear, homosexual thoughts are on your mind at least as much as they are on my mind. I'm beginning to wonder if you aren't like me, gay. Are you? Hmmmmm. Let me turn my gadar on.

Very familiar with the Bible, these TBMs - Lincoln indeed!
Matthew 12:25
King James Version (KJV)
25And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Yes official doctrine being found only one the scriptures I.e. four standard works, the two official declarations, and the one proclamation about the family.

But, Shades, you know as well as I do that the distinction is a false one designed to make Mormons look bad. That one naïve Mormon has latched onto it just goes to show how nefarious the categorization was in the first place. ;-)

The comments on the article are very interesting. Especially the last, "hey you guys got it all wrong" one...
