---EDITED---
This particular discussion was started on Feb. 07, 2012 and simply died. Pushed to the bottom of the page by much more interesting subjects. I made a revision edit around mid-day to the original post because I thought it was strange that there was no interest in this question. This time I am editing not to rephrase the questions, but because what I write here now, will probably never be read (edits will not push a topic up higher on the page). I can probably say all kinds of nasty things here knowing that this particular topic will get pushed down into obscurity. As for my belief on the subject here: If it is the LDS belief that all who do not accept or receive the LDS gospel ends up in spirit prison then the LDS church has some really messed up beliefs. When hearing about the death of those two boys I found some relief in believing in something I didn't think I believed in anymore. I too believed that those boys and their mother somehow were at peace and somehow were together again. But my next thought about this made me a little angry, as I thought that exclusivity of being with loved-one's in the hereafter based solely on religious affiliation is just plain wrong. I hope I am completely wrong about this being an LDS belief.

With Josh Powell killing his boys, would it be fair to say from an LDS standpoint that Josh Powell is now in Spirit Prison for being a murderer and the boys are in spirit paradise for not being of the age of accountability?

Susan Powell's parents although heart-broken and upset about the death of their grandchildren are remaining strong because of their faith and belief that Susan and the boys have been reunited in death.

If Susan was not LDS, never accepting or hearing about the gospel, isn't it the standard LDS belief that she would not qualify to be reunited with her boys?
