The sky had been in the act of falling, but the voters of California ordered it to stop. The courts got involved, and whether the sky would actually make it to the ground has been up in the air, if you'll excuse me, ever since.
It's downward plunge may now recommence. ;-)

I was being gentle and not wishing anyone dead. Sad that people have to think in those terms to bring about governmental change.

In some ways I'm a little disappointed at the timing. This will now officially become a bone of contention in the 2012 presidential race. I was hoping it wouldn't.
