Someone help me out. Is this girl dressed inappropriately for a Mormon? To me she looks respectable, but then again... I've been out of Mormonism for over a decade now.

It's cute, but back in my day it would have been two low cut. What's with the bathroom venue? And is that supposed to be a college level essay? This raises more than one question for me.

I've been friends with this girl for about a year now. Here's my take: http://trevorantley.com/2012/02/15/byu- ... y-militia/.

I looked at the image and now feel it necessary to see my Bishop and ask for help with my obvious porn addiction...

Holy cow, brother. That poor girl. Additionally I'm looking at the comments on your blog and it seems some women theveselves push this agenda, too.

I wonder if the parallels between Islam and Mormonism aren't too distant...

Doc Cam and others: We are all forgetting that this is not about common sense or logic it is about obedience. Just like the WofW is not about common sense, logic or science it is all about obedience. To be Mormon you must obey and be a conformist.....100%.

Which specific parts of the honor code is she violating?

I was on BYU campus once, dressed smartly in my shirt and tie. Someone from the honor code police stopped me and asked me to remove my tie. “Why?” I replied.
“Because,” he said, “it’s pointing directly at your penis.”

Wow. That's a pickup line I never tried (or even heard of being used) when I was at BYU. It basically telegraphs to Brittany that the guy who wrote it is turned on by Brittany and her sense of style.

I doubt it worked for him. Brittany seems to be put off by the other message it telegraphs--that he likes to act holier than thou. But I bet with some of those BYU hotties who come from holier-than-thou households, this might be a hell of an effective method to hit on the co-eds.
