When you think about the unmitigating disasters befalling the Church's image over the last year or two (baptising dead Jews, losing the vote against gay marriage, leaders abusing children, loss of revenue, open admissions of mass apostasy, untruths told in conference etc etc) there is a noticeably absent presence.
Where has the Prophet been?
Where are his inspired words on these matters?
any CEO would be expected to answer for these errors of strategy and leadership. In fact, a company's shareholders would not tolerate the CEO hiding behind a PR firm to avoid facing the music himself.
Come on Mr Monson, tell us in your own words what God has instructed you about these matters....

The Church is rudderless.

In fact lurching from one PR disaster to a repetition of the same PR disaster time after time after time without the problem being fixed.
The First Presidency are not competent organisational leaders and certainly not competent theological leaders.
They know this, we know this, and now they know that the world now knows this.
Come on chaps, it could be a good organisation if it was injected with some clear leadership and honest dealings with the members and world at large. You do it, or step aside and let God pick someone who will.

In yet another public relations embarrassment for the Mormon church, a Utah researcher has discovered that slain Jewish journalist Daniel Pearl was posthumously baptized last year in a serious breach of church protocol.
