Economics and the "supernatural"

Daniel C. Peterson and other moplogists have said in various podcasts that they believe in dowsing (or at least that there is "something there"). If dowsing really worked, why hasn't anyone exploited it for profit? The same is true for other supernatural or strange phenomena.

I remember the DCP Dowsing thread.

If I am not mistaken, that is the one where DCP identified himself as a "rational empiricist".

At least he had a sense of humor.

It makes sense that people who buy into pyramid schemes and other scams would also buy into dousing.
