Do you ever feel like spirit swordsmen are surrounding you while you read?

exactly. How much of a wussy are you that you need ghost ninjas to protect you while you read your scripture? The "adversary" folklore of Mormonism is one of the weirdest things to me.

These swordsmen will protect you from looking at nude wrestling videos and such, found on the Internet.

Yes, I do. Especially this dude in the baker's hat. He shows up every time I open Bittman's How to Cook Everything. It's getting irritating.

Are LDS artists like Shades in the sense they are totally tone deaf to the fact they make kitsch?

2,142 likes, 1,070 shares, 250 comments. How could that be kitsch?! :)

The girl who shared this image is a friend from high school. She and I used to be a sort of 'thing' back in the day. She was my hippie flower girl. One night, she planted a moist kiss on the back of my neck while I was studying at the county library. I remember it well. I was studying Roman history at the moment. She taught me many things. I used to marvel at the experience she carried in her arsenel.

Something happened... Between high school and all those years until now, she has gone from the arts of Jerry Garcia and Harold and Maude to this kitsch. What a loss...

If anyone wants to buy the art, look up the artist, Kerri Guthrie.

You are welcome.

I'll admit that I love this picture. Only Jesus showing the Constitution to the Darwinists, soldiers, and presidents is better.
