I have had a change of heart regarding homosexuality, I don't care if a person is gay just as long as they don't hit on me in public or any other place.

Agree.

Some versions of a saying attributed to the famous British actress Mrs Patrick Campbell(9 February 1865 – 10 April 1940), a friend of George Bernard Shaw:

Reply to a young actress who asserted that an older actor in a production showed too much affection for the leading man (c. 1910); as reported by Alan Dent in Mrs. Patrick Campbell, p. 78 (1961).
Variants: "My dear, I don't care what they do, so long as they don't do it in the street and frighten the horses."
"I don’t mind where people make love, so long as they don't do it in the street and frighten the horses."
"It doesn't make any difference what you do in the bedroom as long as you don't do it in the street and frighten the horses."
"Does it really matter what these affectionate people do, so long as they don't do it on the street and frighten the horses?"

Seems eminently sensible to me.
Zadok:
I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.
Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

I've met so many wonderful gay people over the past couple years. The vast majority of gays just want to enjoy life and express themselves with those who are like them. Gays really are nice people from what I've seen. Also, most gays aren't interested in hitting up on straight people, but, however, do like to look and enjoy. I have no interest in hitting up on straight guys. What the hell can they offer me? It's like putting a square peg into a round hole. Nothwithstanding, straight people like to look and enjoy beautiful bodies as do gays. It's all part of living. I love living in the gayborhood in Dallas -- a place for gays to gather and enjoy life is really cool.

Hatersinmyward, I'm glad you feel more tolerant these days. That should make you feel more at ease and at peace with life in general. Good for you! Many of the old prejudices are evaporating as mankind becomes more modern and understands our true nature as humans. This truly is an age of enlightenment. Yep, the year now is 2012 and the world keeps learning more and more. There is no going back.
