Defamation in the.United States includes saying things about a woman's virtue.

Dahiest has made several slanderous remarks towards jersey girl.

It would be advisable for the mods to ban dahiest and remove the defamatory statements .

He called me a child molester. But I don't think I will be pursuing any litigation against him for it, even though his statement was false and defamatory. Of course, the question of whether a pseudonymous poster on a message board could really win a defamation claim is an open one. Has Jersey Girl's (or my) reputation been damaged by what daheshist wrote about us on a message board?

Evenson certainly has a very "colourful" online history. Check out the posts of Mario Henri Chakkour on this board, particularly this one.

I guess we had ample warning.

Have a good night, people.

I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that pseudonyms are not protected by defamation law.
