Of course we can trust him! Why would the lord call him to be a bishop if he was not trustworthy?

Why is it that MLM craps and Ponzi schemes win in TBM environments?
(In Hungary, I experienced "giving/transfering body energy" and "aura measuring", spread by members.)

There can be some kind of conditioning...

Sadly, the members who he ripped off would have prayed about their decision to invest. They will have got a good feeling about it, which they ascribed to the Holy Ghost 'telling' them it was the right decision.

The Stake President who appointed this Bishop will have prayed about the decision. The SP will have submitted his name to the paid clergy for their approval, which was obviously granted. Both the SP and the paid clergy involved will have prayed about their decision to appoint him. They will have got a good feeling about it, which they ascribed to the Holy Ghost 'telling' them it was the right decision.

It is always people who aren't reliant on the Holy Ghost that end up spotting and fixing the wrong doing.

It is alarming at just how many serious errors of judgement are made on the back of the Holy Ghosts supposed guidance.

I never feel too bad for people who lose their money by investing in a get rich quick scheme.
