Obama being Muslim or not born in the U.S. are the LOWEST things on our radar if even at all.
We are against him because he's a radical Marxist/Communist/Socialist who is trying to radically change America into a 2nd World country like other country's.

He want's to make us as poor as others, having no power as others, etc.
He thinks we steal our wealth, that people have too much wealth, etc.
Liberals don't get that "wealth" is not a Finite PIE that needs to be divided up.
The Freedoms and Capitalism of America has created wealth that has lifted everyone, rich and poor. The poor of this country live like many of the middle class of other countries. And the wealth separation in other country's is even FAR greater. Wealth and power in a few, while many poor and few middle class.

Liberal policy's have NEVER worked anywhere. And the country's that do have them ultimately have to become more capitalistic, deregulated, etc. in order to survive.

Anyway, bottom line, we don't give a crap that Obama is black or otherwise.
We care about his ideology and actions that are and will destroy this country.

I remember Ezra Taft Benson prophecies about this communist takeover. Do we now get the replacement of the corrupt US government?

Well I suppose so. I can't think of anything about the ban which isn't rediculous.

But I am not up to speed. I was not even that aware our president is a communist. Is this a new revelation? Seems important enough to really get the word out beyond the inner circle of those in the know.

I was thinking about ldsfaqs concern about non Mormons making lies. I confess my opening post did not contain the truth.

I think the truth is the central Mormon idology is that Jesus life and death is the path which allows people with their free agency and the adversities of life to over come evil and fullfill in time their true potential.

I think practical communism contains a deep fundamental disrespect for the rights and values of individuals. It is perfectly valid to see this as fundamental oppostition to Mormon values.

I believe Ezra Taft Benson said the civil rights movement was a communist plot. He didn't blame blacks, but said they were pawns in the plot, a.k.a. useful idiots if you will.

Dark Helmet, You are correct about what I meant by the blacks and communism comment. I was curious what it might mean today. Back in time it would fit with the idea that some people were not valient or completely convinced in rejecting the devils plan in the preexistence. It is not hard to see a connection between the devils plan and the forced and unearned equality seen as the goal of communism.

The not valient idea I understand is not taught anymore.
