I love the Carolinas. Many years ago I used to go to the Research Triangle a couple of times a year. Of course I would make sure I got there the Friday before work and would leave on a red eye the next Sunday or Monday so I could play both weekends. I always got home totally exhausted and that was perfect.
Sock is the first person I have met in person from any board. It was a blast. He is really a great guy. He was very different from what I had imagined him to look like and I am sure I was a shock to him. I guess that is human nature to develop preconceived notions about posters. I know many here have met each other and if opportunities arise in the future I am going to do my very best meet more of you.
Liz you are always welcome and will always have a place to stay in Idaho if you get this way. That goes for all of you.

Awesome! One of my very best friends lives in Idaho, so I will keep that in mind! Would love to meet you in person at some point.
ETA--I actually live in the Triad, which is about 1 1/2 hours away from the Triangle.
