"I used to hear all this stuff about Kareem, Lew Alcindor, all the players having hundreds of letters," says Jabari's father, Sonny Parker, who played six seasons with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA after starring at Chicago's Farragut Career Academy, where Garnett played as a senior. "Now, he can't go to the bathroom without it (being posted) on Twitter."
Too bad it's a part member family

Devout? I thought "devout" members were temple endowed and garment wearing devotees.
Going through the image gallery in that story, my garmie-dar(garment radar) did not go off when viewing a photo of his mother taking a cell phone pic of him.
Hopefully his non member father will keep him on a path to the NBA and not waste two years hawking Mormonism in a post Romney media blitz.
