The Mormon Apologetics One-Sentence Invitational!
It's not really an invitational, because it is open to anyone.
Anyway, in this event, participants are challenged to post one sentence (can be declarative or interrogative) that best summarizes Mormon apologetics without directly referring to Mormonism or apologetics about same.
Here is my entry:
"Well if there are no such things as leprechauns, then where do pots of gold come from?"

"We have located over 200 logical fallacies and other errors in the work of 'Dr.' Joe Blow (whose doctorate came from a degree mill, we believe), and due to this and a number of other factors (including some that are of a highly unsavory nature, though I will not be discussing them here), we feel confident in dismissing whatever claims he makes concerning our position."
"[I]f, while hoping that everybody else will be honest and so forth, I can personally prosper through unethical and immoral acts without being detected and without risk, why should I not?." --Daniel Peterson, 6/4/14

By the way:
"Nuh-uh!!!"
although an accurate summary of Mormon apologetics, is too short to count for the purposes of this thread.

That's not doctrine
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

If Joseph didn't bury his face in his hat, to cut out all the light, how would he have been able to read his peep stone?

Just because Joseph made it up doesn't mean it isn't true.
