Okay....you are a faithful, conservative Latter-day Saint who has to vote for one of the following U.S. presidential candidates. Each is equally viable in terms of electability. There are no choices besides these. Whom do you vote for?
(a) a conservative candidate who treats Mormons fairly, but is a practicing member of the
Church of Satan;(b) a flaming liberal Christian;
(c) a conservative Christian who is openly gay (e.g., Log Cabin Republican);
(d) a woman who is a moderate and publicly acknowledges that she is an apostate Mormon.
[Final Jeopardy! theme]

Assuming conservative begets conservative, I would choose the conservative Presidential Candidate from the Church of Satan.
No reason he could not deliver the commencement address at both Liberty University and Utah Valley State University, as long as he stood in opposition to Obamacare. Throw in a Nephite exhibit at the Smithsonian and Satanic President could be awarded a honorary doctorate at BYU. This last accomplishement would put the conservative Satanic President in the same league as His Worshipful Master Dick Cheney.

a and c might not exist. One generally can't reconcile conservatism or Christianity with hedonism or homosexuality. But quite potentially, any one of those four would be better than a Democrat assuming there is some rational basis for their claimed conservatism.

Political parties were not specified. As I understand the OP, any of these could be Democrats or Republicans.
But interesting that the label is so important to you, bspace, that you would prefer a "flaming liberal Christian," assuming they were in the correct party, over anyone who happened to have a "D" by their name, regardless of of how conservative they might be.

No question...my vote would be for D.
We need a moderate woman in the white house.

It's all a matter of Romans 1:32. A conservative Democrat will always be co-opted before anything can be done. For example, we already have Mormons in the Democratic party and they are not holding up LDS values. They can't even if they wanted to.

Thank you for your theocratic ideas bcspace.
Now if you would be so kind as to resolve the following.
Thanks in advance.

This has never happened.
bcspace wrote:typical bcspace anonymizing a quote wrote:Paid ministry in the LDS Church. Yes or no.
No. Those who are paid aren't really the ministry.

bcspace never lies.
Maybe Stak will help me work out the truth table on this.

I am sorry, I didn't fabricated them...
It is Your country, it is about Your leaders.
We are different.
Our previous President of the Republic (today the position is called President of Hungary...) announced to the Hungarian Parliament his resignation as President, because as a result of an allegation of academic misconduct, he was stripped by a legal session of the Senate of the Semmelweis University of his Dr. Univ. degree.
In other words, he plagiarized his doctoral dissertation. - The fact-finding committee's report, issued on 27 March, confirmed the plagiarism (word-by-word translations of "unusually large extent")
We are different.
Our previous Prime Minister has resigned. He said (on an audio recording surfaced, from a closed-door meeting of the Prime Minister's party): "we have obviously been lying for the last one and a half to two years."
He hasn't resigned because of lying. He has because of admitting it.
We are different.
Our present-day prime minister said "I've never lied".
We are different.
No one of our leaders cut a poor figure because of sex.
We had no
Secret Service prostitution scandal.
Our Secret Service works better. They produce prostitute for our VIPs - and as a side effect, for themselves - without being detected.
