Whoa! Sorry about those 3 duplicates of this thread. Either my BlackBerry or the Opera Mini browser's server tweaked out and delivered the data 4 times. Can one of you mods delete the other 3 dupes of this thread for me?

Trying to be scientific about it...

If we assume that the CK ratio male:female is similar to ratio of active members then we can assume 70% of the CK will be female.

No, due to the fact that male infant mortality has always been higher than female infant mortality, males will far outnumber females in the CK.

If a person achieves Celestial Glory but they have both male and female 'attributes' who makes the call on which gender to be?

Well seeing as how a man must practice polygamy to enter the highest degree...... At least 2:1 females to males in the highest.

It is still doctrine a man must practice polygamy to enter the Celestial Kingdom right? Is this doctrine ever mentioned in any teaching materials? Somehow I doubt it. Seems this doctrine would be played down as it is only palatable to the meat eaters diet, and apt to give those who haven't been weaned a case of an uneasy stomach, particularly women. I don't see how this doctrine could be changed. It is one thing for inconvenient doctrines dealing with things going down here on the planet to be changed, but were the silly old deluded doofuses to change doctrine about what is going to go on in the Celestial Kingdom would make God look like he didn't know what the frick he was doing when he was first making up his plan. It would be either or admit a prophet was mistaken about the doctrine. Can't have that.

Here is the official Church doctrine on the matter...

4 For behold, I reveal unto you a new and an everlasting covenant; and if ye abide not that covenant, then are ye damned; for no one can reject this covenant and be permitted to enter into my glory.

5 For all who will have a blessing at my hands shall abide the law which was appointed for that blessing, and the conditions thereof, as were instituted from before the foundation of the world.

6 And as pertaining to the new and everlasting covenant, it was instituted for the fulness of my glory; and he that receiveth a fulness thereof must and shall abide the law, or he shall be damned, saith the Lord God.

Not only is it doctrine, but once you've read this scripture you are commanded to live polygamously or you will be damned!
You've all been warned........
