Had a chance to hear Ann Romney speak. I felt like a good and well-loved Relief Society president was speaking to us and the appeal was amazing and familial. Very complimentary to all classes of people. If more women hear her, they are all going to vote for Romney because of her; all but the most crusty, hairy, and hoary of feminists.

“I love the fact that there are women out there who don’t have a choice and they must go to work and they still have to raise the kids. Thank goodness that we value those people too. And sometimes life isn’t easy for any of us.”

I doubt it. It would probably really cut into her driving her multiple Cadillac sedans or riding her dressage horse.

She was diagnosed with MS in 1998.

Ann Romney seems like a nice lady. I'm not sure if she sounds like a Relief Society president though. I have not heard her lecture women on modest clothing, marrying a worthy priesthood holder in the temple, wearing only one set of earrings, and raising an eternal family. Mitt is also allowing her to venture out on her own, without priesthood holders watching over her.

I like Ann. I don't have a problem with anything she says, and she seems genuine and nice. However, if someone is going to vote for the president of the United States of America based on what his wife says during the campaign then I wish they would just abstain from voting altogether. I mean Elizabeth Edwards was a nice lady, but that doesn't mean I would vote for John's dumb ass.

I hope you're right - imagine how much the church will have to change under the spotlight of a Mormon president. This is the best chance for reformation.
