If the Bible says you must marry your rapist...

What if your rapist is of the same gender? Would that mean it would be a gay marriage?

If you were gang raped, would it be a polygamous marriage? Would the Biblical law to marry your rapist take precedence over Wilford Woodruff's opinion that polygamy should not be practiced?

If you are a female virgin, and you are raped, and you marry your rapist, should you be stoned for not being a virgin before your wedding?

Wasn't it SWK who recommended death before "allowing" rape? So how can you marry your rapist, if you're dead?

Deuteronomy
25:11-12
King James Version

11 When men strive
together one with
another, and the
wife of the one
draweth near for to
deliver her husband
out of the hand of
him that smiteth
him, and putteth
forth her hand, and
taketh him by the
secrets:
12 Then thou shalt
cut off her hand,
thine eye shall not
pity her.

If the Bible says you must marry your rapist...

At most, the Bible says you once had to, the law of Moses being fulfilled and superseded.

so at most the Bible says that God was once a misogynistic monster.

but then he appeared on earth and taught us to care for the poor, turn the other cheek, and he smiled warmly and bade the little children to come unto him and all that. Uh huh

Presentism.

Not really. The penalty for rape in general was stoning (Deut. 22:25). But if the woman wasn't married or betrothed already, the rapist was spared in order to provide a living for her likely since she was now undesirable not being a virgin.
