Baptism statistics?

It appears that the Ward in my area has a pattern of baptizing high school students whose parents do not approve shortly after they turn 18 while they are still in high school.

Is there a way to get baptism statistics by Ward with age to determine if this is a fact or just perception? Maybe from the geneology records or membership information?

Thanks,
MIC

Why? Trying to bust the Church?

I don't know MIC if that is available, the Church is quite secretive when it comes to membership information. I am not sure you could infer any thing from them anyways in regards to your question. Even if there was such a pattern locally I don't imagine you could do much to change it.

And in case you were unaware, the board does offer an ignore function which can be quite useful.

That's unfortunate. I think Fence Sitter is correct, though. I doubt you would be able to find the data you are looking for.

The genealogy records for LDS ordinances will only show us information for dead people, so it would not be of any use.

Hi MIC,

Can't answer that question, but do know that as a missionary we were always told that families were what we should ideally be aiming for. What actually happened a lot of the time, is that we as sisters used to have relative success with single men, and conversely the Elders had a lot of success with single girls.

Don't know if that helps.

Did the retired couple missionaries have sexual appeal to any population demographic? or did they simply have no relative success?
