Eight years ago this month we got this monumental speech from the noted BYU archaeologist John Clark:

http://www.rickross.com/reference/Mormon/mormon163.html

It triggered much skepticism from clear thinkers and saw Dan Peterson relentlessly defending the credentials of Clark and attacking anyone who scoffed at Clark's attempt to use his position as an archaeologist to give a public fireside chat for the press (albeit BYU press).

Clark made many statements about the evidence for the Book of Mormon in that faith building emotional chat.

One has to wonder where Clark has been heard from since and what his follow up has been to the fireside chat guised as academic work.  Seems like since then, both he and Peterson have  gone silent and the best they got since is a West Draper published book from the New Mexico computer salesmen - Gardner, trying to carry on the torch in and around Provo!!!

Well, Happy Aniversary anyway to Clark and Peterson and the continued novels supporting this widely accepted and acclaimed research on the ancient civilization contained in the Book of Mormon!!!

Where are they now!!!

He's busy proving the Book of Mormon true in his own mind. After that, he can work on Facsimile No. 3.
