Australian Postmormon Gathering 23-25 Nov, Canberra
First Announcement
Mike Cable and Simon Southerton would like to announce that they are organizing a national gathering of former Mormons (and friends and partners) to be held in Canberra in Spring. Kiwis not already living in Australia are also very welcome, as are any other exmos who happen to be in town.
The aim of the gathering is to significantly increase the visibility and connectedness of the far-flung Australian postmormon community. Mike and I reconnected by accident when we literally bumped into each other while shopping in Canberra about a year ago. We had been good friends 16 years earlier. This gathering is about making these types of reconnections less accidental.
For more information please visit our blog (http://postmoz.blogspot.com.au). If you would like to attend either send us a private message by emailing us at postmoz@rocketmail.com or if you are feeling brave leave a more public message on our postmoz blog. Let us know your name, city/town and how certain you are that you will come (e.g. in spite of Second Coming). We’ll soon be emailing further information about the program.
Please help us get the word out and encourage your like-minded friends and family to register their interest ASAP so that we get an early idea of numbers.
