Either those BYU-Hawaii students are a bit NOMish or this is a clear sign that a Mormon should be elected to the White House because of our demonstrated tolerance.

Well, it might depend on the kind of school we are talking about.
It helps reduce one's tendency to the automatic demonization of anything to do with Muslims if one reminds oneself that the word مدرسة usually rendered in Latin script as 'madrassa' is simply the ordinary everyday word for 'school' in Arabic. Every morning all over the world lots of ordinary kids without the slightest intention of becoming suicide bombers wake up in the morning in Arabic speaking countries and are told by Mom and Dad to hurry up or they will be late for مدرسة .
And, by the way, if you ask the Mom and Dad who send their kids off to school to describe what going to madrassa makes their kids, they will tell you that a kid who goes to school is a طالب - 'taleban'. That's 'student'.
