England said she has talked with several parents and students she said were shocked and appalled by the play's content. She specifically mentioned teenage actors smoking fake cigarettes on stage, using strong language and citing biblical passages to debate the morality of the death penalty.
"We don't appreciate the Bible being used in that way," she said.
Since the vast majority of biblical scholar agree that the Bible unequivocally advocates a modern American hard-right political ideology, I also do not appreciate the Bible being subjected to differing interpretations in order to assess the morality of government-sanctioned ritual killing as a penalty for murder.
I notice the Eagle Forum is not opposed to the Bible being used in school per se. They apparently only oppose the introduction of opinions other than their own about the Bible.

Ah, Poor Darth J, you are relying on the KJV and NOT the more Inspired and More Correct Horny Holy Joe (JSTKJV) version of the Bible.
