I have to admit that I am quite surprised to see that they really did this. I never thought they would do it.
Anyway, did you see that Schryver appeared out of nowhere and immediately started bashing Hauglid and also (predictably!) started talking about his "forthcoming" publications that will prove Hauglid wrong on some point or another?

After all that Goddamn tithing I gave to the church they finally throw me a Goddamn bone. Jesus H Christ! They can keep their bloody bone.
This further magnifies how wrong Joseph Smith was in everything he did pertaining to Egyptian papyri. Even William-boy will admit that the Explanations of Facsimile No. 3 are a boner.
To hell with the Mormon church and Joe Smith.

This project is definately NOT faith promoting. If anything, it will damage testimonies and cause further questions regarding the Egyptian translation process. Now that the church is publishing these things it will eventually force the leadership to have to answer for it when things get heated up later on. The Mormon seers are going to be in the hotseat. What's funny is they have no special powers and couldn't translate a Goddamn thing no matter how hard they tried or prayed about it. Once the saints realize that their current leaders can't translate a thing and that the translations of the founding prophet are bogus it will lead to one question: Why are the Explanations of Facsimile No. 3 false! The President of the church will be stuck with having to say he doesn't know and no one knows because no one was there. But the people will sigh and wonder what kind of prophetic counsel is this! They will smell a rat.

Do these publications (attn Will - a publication is something that someone has written that gets published somewhere that other people can view it, like in a book, on a website etc) provide support for Joseph's claim of 'written by the hand of Abraham himself' or do they further destroy it?
