This was actually my first reaction: "Woah, does he have dreadlocks?" But then I soon realized his hair is just lacking a fine shampoo treatment the morning of this event.

The real Jesus probably looked more like Bob Marley than the white European guys they use to depict him today

They just got done listening to the Doors and smoking pot. Now they are trying to communicate with spirits and divine the future.

If the disciples are praying, they are doing it wrong. Jews and early Christians did not do the 'joined hands' prayer gesture. They used instead the
orans posture with raised hands:
