If you go to the home page for FARMS/NAMIRS you will see the following quote from Neal A. Maxwell.
Neal A. Maxwell wrote:If the Church were not true, our enemies would be bored rather than threatened, and acquiescent rather than anxious. Hell is moved only when things move heavenward.
I must confess that recently the LDS church has left me very bored and having very little interest in correcting any falsehoods taught by the church. This is also why I have not participated much in discussion boards or blogs lately. So does that mean the LDS church is not true or that I am not an enemy of the LDS church?

Me too. The church is so boring. Everything the leadership says is just repeated crap already been said. Mormonism is really a simple/stupid religion.

So Neil A Maxwell is an instructor at the "My Hair is a Bird, therefore X" school of logic?

By that logic we could conclude that Scientology is true.

If my hair were not a bird, my neighbors would drive an ice cream truck instead of a pinto, with snow chains instead of racing tires. Gremlins only meddle when pink unicorns begin their northward migration.

Both, and Mormon doctrine is insipid to boot. I suspect that most TBMs posting, even looking, here have heard the same drivel so many times that within the first 5 minutes of a 'class' on Sunday, they know how the rest of the 'lesson' will unfold. Thankfully, smartphones were invented.

I knew there was a reason the Divine Mind concocted those gizmos.
The Church
is true.

Founded on reasoning like that, how could they go wrong?

If the Church wasn't true, people would submit passively?
