Just before I started my regular low crawl through the seedy underbelly of the internet, an unrelated Google search landed me at the newly minsted M.A.R.S. blog (Mormon Apologetic Research Studies). It is with joy that I get to announce my discovery of SeattleGhostWriter’s dream! While not necessarily an actual journal as originally conceived, SeattleGhostWriter does present a nice looking blog (if a bit cluttered!) that is surely a worthy addition to the field of Mormon Apologetics.

SeattleGhostWriter doesn’t waste time, his first postis a bold attempt to deliver a coup de grâce against both atheists and an “Apostate Christian Faith” by drawing on the wisdom of John A. Widstoe. This throwing down of a steel gauntlet coated velvet deserves careful attention from anybody, so I have come here to deliver this message:


Take heart apologists! Tread carefully apostates! SeattleGhostWriter is back, and this time, it’s legit.

If it had been Mormon Apologetic Studies the calls for "no M.A.S" would have been loud and hilarious. The Research added that "R" that really brings it all together.

That is the only thing I read, and I'm not sure what to make of it. I feel like I keep missing some big point...

And, if anything that I had gone through has taught me one thing, it is this, the only possibility of my testimony is not because I had a warm fuzzy feeling, a burning in the bosom that was subjective, but a real true honest meet with the divine. This, I can’t deny. The Book of Mormon is True, Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and President Monson is a Latter-day Prophet called to speak to us by God’s Authority. And, I testify that I will defend the truth the rest of my life.
