Going About Secretly to Destroy the Church

As long as certain parties are busy notifying Mormons to the existence, if not the identity, of members in their midst going about secretly to destroy the church, I thought it might be fun to see how much headway we can make along that front.
If there is any interest among church-going members of the board, I propose we reconoitter in advance some thought-provoking issues and questions that could be raised in the upcoming Sunday school class, based on that week's reading of the Book of Mormon, and then return and report as to the results.
Any interest?
All the Best!

Oh, I'd be happy to help, but I'm persona non grata at Sunday School and GD. I think the Bishop is relieved when I bolt after sacrament meeting. A least I won't be asking those "sticky questions" that trouble the membership and he can have a nice boring non-thought provoking Sunday.

This would be right up your alley, then.
Consider it a sociology experiment of sorts.
We all go into our respective Gospel Doctrine classes, ask the same questions, then compare results.
What could be more scientific?

Ok, I'm game. What are we going to ask? It isn't like they can make me more of a persona non grata.

First order of business is to come to a consensus on what the reading assignment is this Sunday. I find my ward to be a bit on the slow side of the schedule.

Forgive me for the slight derail. It is interesting how he had to go about in secret. No free speech in God's church organization in those days.

Not only that, just how secret can you be if you are a son of the king or the high priest? (You see, that would be just the kind of question that could be raised.)
Forgive me for not remembering, zeez, but do you go to church anymore such that you could be in on such a venture?

I think you should ask them why they think the Church has to pay professors at BYU to defend the Lord's Church. You should then follow that up with a question on validity of the material on SHIELDS, along with homework assignments, where they pay a visit to FAIR/MDD and ask questions about doctrine and Church history.

Well, I don't care what the question is - the schedule says that next Sunday is suppose to be Alma 8-12.

Our class is definitely behind, then. We are only up to Alma 5-7.
