Sounds like a fine way to spend the day. Your daughter lives in Texas, right? Is she coming to see you?

We are relaxing today, too. We are having dinner at my mother in law's house. We gave Grandpa his Father's Day present, and brought Grandma some home made jam with plums from our garden.

I got a call just a little while ago. She's working today. Yes, all good things happen right here in Texas!

Been glued to the threads. I'm sure you can understand that. The board got bombed!

Well, first I made my (adult) daughter's breakfast before she went to church; then I made breakfast for my wife & me (my my wife is feeling very tired - CFS); then I made lunch for my daughter, to be ready when she got back from church; then I took my wife to a couple of stores where she window-shopped for jewelery-making supplies.

What day is it again?

Can't complain, though - my DD is in currently the kitchen making enchiladas de pollo verdes, one of my favourite meals.

Thanks, Liz.

I took my kids out early this morning to get them donuts. We have spent a quiet day together, enjoying each other's company. Took my son out to Best Buy to spend my gift cards and let him play the electronic drums in their instrument shop. I cleaned and inflated their wading pool so they could play in it. my wife made me one of my favorite meals. She is very good to me.
