Peterson - Maxwell Institute: "A non-event saga"

Am up here in beautiful Utah for some enjoyable golf and challenging cycling.  Staying in Park City but got down to Salt Lake for some golf and dinner.  Even did some cycling down Provo way.

I've gotten to read most all the local papers and watched all the Utah news stations. Even shared some good discussions with lots of local folks while here.

So far haven't seen any coverage of this Peterson - MI mega saga event.  Haven't found a local anywhere who has even heard of either one.  But I admit I have not stopped or spent anytime in Orem proper.

Much ado of nothing?

Yes, it is. DCP, and most Mormon apologists, are generally unknown within Mormonism itself.

I don't think it's a 'non event' to Dan...

Much ado of nothing?

All we have been given are two alleged emails presented by the enemies of the Church. The event might even be real, but the emails just sugary spin for the masturbatory consumption of rabid anti Mormons.

Every time I read this ploy "Even if it is all true, I can still maintain my testimony that Scratch is a liar or a dupe", I bow in the general direction of a true master of the Mopologetic foil.

Are the switches open or closed, bcspace?

Bow to Scratchy. He's the one who admitted from the outset the emails were alleged. With the alleged emails, even if DCP's re-assignment is true, there is enough yellow journalistic dirt to make a revisionist history if they remain alleged. Anti Mormons are REALLY good at revisionist history and typically ignore actual history when they can.

This just in: Bill Hamblin says the emails were real, and basically confirms Scratch's entire story. http://www.mormondialogue.org/topic/58099-my-assessment-of-the-situation-at-the-maxwell-institute/

Hey, bcspace, is Bill Hamblin a lying apostate, or do you now acknowledge the veracity of the emails? What say ye?
