The Jews and famous people are externally screwed.
Now they will rot in spirit prison until judgement day when Christ tells them no soup for you!

Church leaders have asked members who are submitting names for proxy baptisms for the deceased to:
• Work only on their own family lines.
• Not submit names of celebrities.
• Not submit names of unauthorized groups, such as Jewish Holocaust victims.

I wish they'd stop the whole practice period. If the dead wish to be baptized into the Mormon Church, they can appear and ask to be baptized. Otherwise, leave them alone.

Goddamnit! I want to submit the name of Anubis for in behalf of Olimlah of Facismile No. 3, Figure 6. He needs to be baptized. The poor black slave of Egypt needs the blessings of the gospel too.
Not fair.

Baptize Anubis, god of Egypt!

What if the spirits of dead famous people appear to the profit and demand to be baptized like the Founding Fathers apparently did? This new guideline puts the church in a quandary.

Tapirs... Yeah... That's the ticket!

What if your family member is also a celebrity?
I think we need further guideance because I'm now worried my celebrity non Mormon family members cannot be eternally saved via posthumous ordinances.

You can start indexing right away by downloading the app. Just search for “familysearch indexing” in the iOS App Store or Android Market.
"photographed historical records" by default, are nonrelated to anybody. They are related to certain place and time.About indexing
Indexing is the process of transcribing information on scanned or photographed historical records in order to create a searchable index. Without indexing, images of these historical records can only be browsed, making it difficult and time-consuming to find names of interest for family history.

So are there approved extraction projects from which one can pluck unrelated names and that's okay?

Re: New Ensign article about necro dunking policies
Seems to be a case of blame the membership not those of us in charge. Strange that the Mormon Church has been unable to control this when the exercise such stifling control over virtually every other aspects of members' lives. Someone in authority must look at names being submitted for proxy baptism....don't names such as Adolf Hitler, Brad Pitt or Anne Frank raise some questions. This whole policy, however, does point up the fallacy of the whole ritual. If it is important as the Mormon Church claims nothing should hinder any submission of names. I still wonder, too, if "work" has been done for Mohammed. Surely that would make the issue of baptizing Jews a sidebar story.

Mohammed who?
