LDS are in the Dark Ages of Gospel Apostasy.

Was on the phone with a LDS High Priest instructor guy who told me before I called that he has never met anyone in his life who knew the gospel better than he did. Perhaps he was suspecting I might. After listening to him for an hour and a half, I told him my gospel experience which he did not recognize as such and presumed it to be something else entirely.

This person is not even breathing in the atmosphere of the real gospel let alone knowing anything about it. I have NEVER once heard any Mormon in all my life declare the King Benjamin standard of repentance and gospel discipleship. I mean they use the words in sermons without knowledge or experience to have the slightest clue what is taking the name of Christ and being spiritually begotten of God.

My friend on the on the other end of the phone was a quick study in presumption. His story sounds like he has been drawn of God to some degree and he should have made it all the way but for his presumptuousness.

The LDS are as apostate as any generation in the history of the wold ever was. I cannot find an exception. I have already written them all off, but I thought all along that a straggler here or there might stumble into Zion. I guess not.

At the end of the conversation he claimed to have taught me things I had never known before. I laughed. Then I taught him something he HAD never heard of before and he asked for more. mmmmmmaybe. What a time to be stuck on earth.

Anyway, you're right, I'm not going to defend the LDS. I just lost my faith in the church, that's why I'm here. And I definitely have seen the attitude you're talking about among Mormons, I won't even try to deny that. Just, friendly warning, be careful with the mote/beam thing. We're all susceptible to it.

I have long been just as arrogant as this and LDS have been longer in full on apostasy. Still nobody will wonder? There would be no need for LDS apologetics IF they were cranking out saint after saint upon whom the power of godliness was evident. Joseph Smith could have actually done ten times the foul deeds he is charged with and nobody would say a word because the proof and virtue of his pudding would set the world back on its heels.

So whining about my arrogance is moot to the discussion proffered. Well, the fact that it is called arrogance is germane I suppose as faithlessness is projected to discount my witness.

If the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ was being taught expertly and with precision such that its realization was happening how could anyone lose faith? See? This point I am making has the potential to solve all LDS problems and yet they turn a blinder eye away filled with resentments. Is that magnifying your priesthood and office so as to be respected and have people stand up when you enter a room? Hell no that is pissing God off and worse when they cast out the one man God raised up an enabled to help.

Can you appreciate how much toast they are before the Lord?
