DCP-ites, which is it?

Question for those in DCP's posse, and lurker DCP himself, there appear to be two possibilities: Bradford acted with or without uppers in the BYU/COB/Brethren chain. So, which is it--
BYU/COB/Brethren ordered Bradford to get DCP out of the Review, or
BYU/COB/Brethren exercised colossally bad judgment in putting Bradford in the position of being in charge of NAMIRS.
Which indictment of BYU/COB/Brethren do you prefer?

If it is true as DCP himself stated that he and bradford had a long discussion 'about things" before dan headed to the middle east, it is clear that after the conversation with dan, bradford consulted with someone, few or many-fact:gov and church beaucrats never act alone without getting the go ahead from higher up the chain or command. bradford probably consulted with bosses and his confidants. then the missive flew of the electronic airwaves to a peterson who thought he had at least bought some time and hoped for further discussions on his return. once bradford had his ass covered from his boss or bosses boss, he did what was required and i thk the email was not that bad a spanking for DCP. it was like the tail end of their previous discussion with bradford's decision to fire him tacked on.
of course dan reacted the way he did because he truly thought "he was too big to fail"
this decision was not one to be of much interest to the magnificent 15 but perhaps a few GA's cared but not a lot-we are not talking about apostasy or embarrassing the church hierarchy here-this was personnel matter. good people can disagree without either being 'wrong".
the leaked emails have been the story so far-and reactions are all over the map!
but no one has yet brought up the social cam issue-could there be a conspiracy in there somewhere-i hope not.
just sayin!
