Everywhere among Native Americans you see the vestiges of Costly Apparel.Native North and South America people have get ups that eclipse all the world. Perhaps animal bones were used to extinction. So no horse remains......no where. Huh? Huh? People might have been mining everything and making clothes out it. All evidence is now camouflaged in costumes. Huh? Huh?

Need more bone beads Nefu. Go dig up that cow.

It would be a simple matter to prove my thesis that Costly Apparel removed evidence. If there is a serious lack of all manner of bone, for instance, no evidence of pre-columbian alpaca or llama bones we could surmise as to why that is and conclude as much for horses etc.

You have to wonder about it because all the Native Americans North and Central and South were into this same occupation of fabricating elaborate costumes. To render all carcasses to dust is no stretch.

This with the curse of losing your tools left out of hand finishes off the evidences. Joseph Smith had no reason to assume that there would not be evidences and therefore he would not have made up the curse to cover for it. Just not probable at all.

I see that by curse and culture the Lord set up our day such that failing to come unto him and get his gospel right we would be forced to disbelieve and oh well.

What is "costly" about using the things around you to make clothes? Nothing. In fact, it is very ecologically sound.

The clothing and costumes worn by people are a form of art. I love to see tha stunning and amazing HANDMADE beaded clothing of the Native Americans when I go to the art museum. It boggles the mind that they had the patience to do what they did. Then again, they didn't have TV and message boards to waste their time with.

Just because Americans get cheap poorly constructed articles of clothing made for slave wages by little children in third world countries doesn't mean we are more humble or better than any other culture. In fact, the opposite could be argued.

Are you saying NA's used the bones of the thousands killed in the last battle? Thousands and thousands of human bones? (because that's one of the big questions... where are the bones?)

The Native American's did not put certain species of animals into extinction to use the bones for beads. That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read.

It is possible to test bones used for beads to find out what animals was used (is it not?). We would know if horse or human bones were used.

From what I have read, briefly, the bones most commonly used were bird/chicken bones because fowl have hollow bones which are perfect for beading.

They did use animal bones to carve things out of and make beads, however the bones they used came from what they ate.

Any Anthropology department at any qualified university will have a list of classes for Anthropology of Native Americans.
