WTF!!! (link)

Post by _The Mighty Builder »

"Good police work, some lucky breaks, a strong hunch and possibly even divine intervention led to police arresting a man in connection with the death of 6-year-old Sierra Newbold."

"Miracles do happen," said West Jordan Police Chief Douglas Diamond. "I myself believe it is divine intervention."

So what, this precious little girl had to be brutally RAPED AND MURDERED so Mormon Jesus can be praised in providing a "Miracle" for the NEWS!

That's not just a Mormonism problem, that is religion in general. God allows MILLIONS to starve to death, but a cow being found is considered a miracle. Remember, religion does not use logic or reason. It lives by faith. And any faith promoting rumor is used in the most assanine ways to show that faith is true and real.

I bet Monson was shopping at City Creek. It's wonderful. How can you blame him?

Yeah, I commented on that during dinner to the wife. God didn't bother to intervene when the child was being raped and strangled. Instead, God choose to put some burning under the nipples of the cop - way after the fact.

Apparently the sick idiot attended their own Ward.

I wonder if he had a temple recommend.

Probably.

Disgusting concept. So God intervened because he wanted the guy to get caught. I guess it follows that he wanted this beautiful little girl to get raped and murdered, because he didn't intervene then.

Also shameful is an actual "journalist" writing this line:

"But how Black was caught is nothing short of a miracle."

That's not a statement from an interview; it was the conclusion of the article's author, Pat Reavy. Sure, Pat, there is no explanation for these circumstances other than a supernatural one.
